Csenge Győrbíró (*1996, Budapest) is a multidisciplinary designer with roots in textiles. She graduated from the Moholy-Nagy Design University of Budapest with honors in 2020 and has won numerous national and international awards.

Csenge’s multidisciplinary practice spans textile, surface design, art direction, and diverse digital technologies exploring the relationship between rituals, natural symbols, myth, geological, industrial histories, and the politics of the body.

COFFEWEAR DESIGN

Coffeewear is working with wasted single-use packages and other reused materials collected in Budapest as contribution to saving the Earth and our beautiful nature from plastic pollution. From 2018 on the ready to wear products are wallets, bags, beauty-bags, cases, backpacks. All the products are designed for ‘urban nomads’ young fashionistas to fit everything in one place and carry a piece of a youthful vibe of Budapest.
There are creative and craft workshops organised by the Coffewear group on a regular bases, and also during the summer in festivals in Hungary and abroad as well. These events are perfect for the contemporary design and craft lovers. Photo credit: Noel Laszlok

PURE BOTANY®

Pure Botany® is an ongoing collection of unique art pieces and wall-coverings by Csenge Györbiro, enhanced every year by the addition of a new chapter full of fresh proposals. PURE BOTANY stands for Sustainable, Tapestry Art in the field of interior design and home decoration products. The idea of contemporary wall-coverings and the brand itself came in 2021 and have been evolved over the years into a clear vision which promotes biophilia based approach to living. The custom-made biodegradable wall-coverings carry dry flower petals pressed on linen or wool. Natural materials, unique surfaces, minimalistic compositions and sophisticated colour palettes define the brand’s ethos and aesthetics.
